The retired royal, 44, cut a casual figure on Tuesday in a pinstriped long-sleeve and white linen pants, completing her look with brown sandals.
Markle, who wore her hair down in loose waves, kept a low profile in black sunglasses.
She was photographed waving at a crew member before heading to film a poolside scene in the Amazon MGM Studios’ movie, which is centered around two couples — one famous and the other not.
The project stars Jack Quaid, Lily Collins and Brie Larson.
Markle, notably, plays herself.
News broke of the ex-royal’s return to her acting roots on Wednesday, with People divulging details of her first day on set.
“She seemed very relaxed and happy,” a source told the outlet Wednesday. “She introduced herself to everyone.”
The insider dubbed the actress “very sweet and down-to-earth.”
Markle last acted as Rachel Zane in “Suits” in the show’s April 2018 Season 7 finale, with her character marrying and moving to Seattle.
She was written out of the legal drama after her November 2017 engagement to Prince Harry, whom she wed in May of the following year.
“I don’t see it as giving anything up, I just see it as a change,” Markle told reporters of no longer acting after the Duke of Sussex, 41, got down on one knee. “It’s a new chapter.”
She doubled down on this in a 2022 Variety interview.
“I’m done [acting],” Markle said at the time. “I guess never say never, but my intention is to absolutely not [do it again].”
By this point, she and Harry had left the United Kingdom — and their royal roles — and lived in their Montecito, Calif., mansion with their two kids — Prince Archie, 6, and Princess Lilibet, 4.
