Where is Mark Consuelos Today? ‘Live’ Announcer Déjà Vu Fills In As Co-Host Alongside Kelly Ripa

Kelly Ripa was joined by a familiar face on this morning’s Live with Kelly and Mark that was not Mark Consuelos.

Live‘s announcer Déjà Vu, who has previously filled in as co-host on the daytime talk show, stepped in for Consuelos on Thursday’s episode, which was previously recorded in front of a live studio audience. Déjà also announced her and Ripa ahead of their entrance, as she does for Ripa and Consuelos every morning.

“I loved hearing you announce us,” Ripa told Déjà. “Because I looked at Déjà backstage and I go, ‘But if you’re here, who’s going to announce us?’ She goes, ‘Maybe it’s going to be me.’”

Déjà teased that she was “doing double duty,” and jokingly requested “double the money” from Live‘s EP Michael Gelman.

Ripa agreed, “Yes! That’s an excellent point, Déjà.”

As for where Consuelos was during Thursday’s episode, Ripa didn’t specify, though she noted that her husband and co-host “has been traveling like crazy.”

Consuelos was also absent from Monday’s (Nov. 3) episode, as Steve Patterson filled in for him alongside Ripa. However, Consuelos returned for Tuesday’s (Nov. 4) and Wednesday’s (Nov. 5) episodes. This morning’s episode saw Ripa and Déjà sit down with All’s Fair star Teyana Taylor and The Beast in Me star Brittany Snow.
