Maranda also reshared Williams’ farewell Instagram post to New York, writing, “Thank you NY.”

Williams — who was rumored to be unhappy as Gang Green is at a 1-7 mark— has been a crucial piece of the Jets defense since they selected the Alabama product with the third overall pick in the 2019 NFL Draft.

He has made the Pro Bowl in each of the last three seasons and was first-team All-Pro in 2022.

The Jets are getting a 2026 second-rounder, a 2027 first-rounder and defensive tackle Mazi Smith from Dallas in the deal.

It came amid a Jets fire sale that rocked the NFL before Tuesday’s 4 p.m. deadline — including a trade that sent star cornerback Sauce Gardner to the Colts for two first-round picks.

The moves signal a full rebuild under new coach Aaron Glenn and general manager Darren Mougey.

In his post, Williams sent an emotional goodbye to Jets fans and his teammates, and said he’s “excited for what’s next” in Dallas.
