- Jason Isaacs mentioned the rumored White Lotus season 3 cast “beef” in a May 2 selfie with costar Walton Goggins, which the actors snapped after running into each other on a flight
- “Hey, all you genius online sleuths – see any beef?!!” Isaacs wrote in the caption
- The actor also tagged Duke University in the selfie, seemingly poking fun at the school’s public complaints about its association with his White Lotus character, Timothy Ratliff
- Isaacs’ post comes shortly after Goggins refused to discuss his rumored feud with White Lotus castmate Aimee Lou Wood in a recent interview
Jason Isaacs isn’t afraid to poke fun at the rumored White Lotus “beef” as rumors of cast feuds continue to swirl.
After running into his White Lotus costar Walton Goggins on a recent flight, the Harry Potter alum, 61, snapped some selfies with the actor and, while sharing them, made several references to the drama surrounding the popular series’ third season.
Isaacs shared the photos — including one in which he plants a kiss on a smiling Goggins’ forehead — on Instagram on Friday, May 2, and cheekily wrote, “Guess who was on my plane?”

Then, turning his attention to anyone speculating about the rumored cast drama, he wrote, “Hey, all you genius online sleuths – see any beef?!!”
“#RicksAlive!!!” he concluded the caption, nodding to the show’s bloody season 3 finale, which (spoiler!) led to the death of Goggins’ character, Rick Hatchett.
Not only did Isaacs hint at the White Lotus cast “beef,” but he also referenced a bit of drama that involves his character, financier and family man Timothy “Tim” Ratliff, by tagging Duke University’s official Instagram account in the selfie post.
In one dramatic season 3 scene, Isaacs’ character Tim contemplates suicide while sporting a Duke T-shirt, holding a gun to his head in an image that was subsequently shared widely on social media.

In a statement to The New York Times earlier this year, an official with the Durham, N.C., university accused The White Lotus of going “too far” with the character — who is revealed to be a Duke alum in the series — stating that the salacious businessman “does not reflect our values or who we are.”
Isaacs clearly disagrees with Duke’s sentiment as, following the university’s complaint, he arrived at the White Lotus season 3 finale party in a shirt bearing the school’s mascot, the Blue Devil.
As for the other “beef” Isaac may be referring to in his latest post, fans have speculated for months that there was — or is — tension between Goggins, 50, and his on-screen White Lotus love interest Aimee Lou Wood.
Goggins recently fanned the flames of the rumor — which began circulating after the costars unfollowed each other on Instagram — in an interview with The Times published May 1.
When asked about why he and Wood, 31, unfollowed each other, The Righteous Gemstones actor said, “I’m not gonna have that conversation.” He and his publicists went on to shut down several more questions about the actress.

Isaacs also spoke about the rumored drama behind the scenes of season 3 of the show in a recent interview.
In the April 9 episode of The Happy Hour on SiriusXM’s TODAY Show Radio, Isaacs said that everyone on set was “in a little pressure cooker together,” which led to various relationship dynamics on set. “Like anywhere you go for the summer,” he added, “there’s friendships, there’s romances, there’s arguments, there’s cliques that form and break and reform and stuff like that.”
As for the “online sleuths” he targeted in his latest post, he said on the radio show that “nobody has the slightest clue what they’re talking about.”
“People who think they’re onto something, and then it gets magnified because of a thousand other people,” Isaacs said. “Nobody has any clue.”
