Sam Darnold’s fiancée swoons over Seahawks QB’s ‘SNF’ performance
Katie Hoofnagle needed to catch her breath after fiancé Sam Darnold’s sensational “Sunday Night Football” showing.
Taking to her Instagram Stories following Seattle’s dominant 38-14 road victory over the Commanders, Hoofnagle re-shared a post from the Seahawks’ account that hyped Darnold’s stats, notably his four first-half touchdowns.

Captioning the image with a trio of out-of-breath emojis, Hoofnagle could hardly contain her excitement as Darnold, 28, helped lead the Seahawks to their sixth win of the season coming off the bye.
“Someone at halftime said to me that I hadn’t thrown an incompletion,” said Darnold, who completed his first 17 passes. “So I think he’s to blame for throwing an incompletion in the second half.”
Darnold finished the prime-time clash by completing 21 of 24 attempts for 330 yards. He also tossed that aforementioned interception, his fifth of the season.
“Believe me when I say it: I’m not surprised,” head coach Mike Macdonald said of his prized QB. “We watch Sam every day and how he operates. He’s the same guy every day, which is what you love about him. We’re chasing it. The guys are determined, and it’s fun to watch.”

The Seahawks have been soaring with Darnold, who agreed to a three-year, $100.5 million pact with the club in free agency after reviving his career on the Vikings last season.
Seattle is currently tied atop the NFC West with the Rams at 6-2. The teams will battle it out in two weeks on Nov. 16.
It’s been an exciting year for Darnold, who popped the question to Hoofnagle before the start of the season in July.
The couple went public with their relationship in 2023.
