Regression came for NFL favorites in Week 9.

After dominating Week 8 to the tune of a 10-2 record against the spread, favorites fell behind dramatically on Sunday in Week 9, going 4-7 against the spread with some surprising underdogs winning outright.

The Packers lost badly on Sunday, and suddenly their offense is banged up and desperately in need of some firepower to help even things out for them.

Below, we target some spots where I foresee some line movement coming in Week 10 as we look to beat the books.

NFL Week 10 early predictions

Eagles (+120) at Packers

This line can be bet on at BetMGM, DraftKings, Caesars, FanDuel, and bet365.

I don’t like Green Bay’s injuries one bit right now. Do I believe in their potential as a Super Bowl contender come January? Absolutely.

But the Eagles are coming off a bye week and had an extra week to prepare for the Packers as they travel to Green Bay.

The Packers are expected to be without Matthew Golden, who exited Sunday with a shoulder injury and did not return.

Green Bay will also be missing Tucker Kraft, who is now out with a torn ACL.

The Eagles, meanwhile, have made several trades since we last saw them, including bringing in some defensive help in Jaire Alexander and Jaelan Phillips.

Those aren’t massive moves by any means, but the Eagles are adding while the Packers are actively losing guys.

I’ll take the Eagles to win this one and suspect that this line moves closer to pick’em status before long.

Betting on the NFL?

Lions -7.5 vs. Commanders

This line can be bet on at DraftKings.

Jayden Daniels is out for this week and possibly the season.

We’ve seen the Marcus Mariota experiment in Washington, and it’s been bad. Mariota has played in parts of five games for the Commanders, four losses.

They are losing by an average deficit of 18.5 points in the last four games that he’s played in.

Washington looked absolutely heartbroken when Daniels went down in the middle of a blowout loss. I feel this is a good buy-low spot on the Lions, who had flukey special teams mistakes to blame for their Week 9 loss to the Vikings.
