Sopranos star Joe Pantoliano is considering making a major life change.
At the Tucci in Italy premiere in New York City on April 28, the actor shared that he is thinking about moving abroad due to the state of U.S. politics.
“I’m so uncomfortable with the nature of what’s happening in our country, and I just want to run for the hills,” Pantoliano, 73, told Page Six.
“It’s hard for me to think about people’s bulls— like making a TV show,” he continued, adding, “The world is on fire, it’s hard for me to concentrate.”
The Matrix actor shared that he and his wife, actress Nancy Sheppard, recently returned from Portugal and have discussed the possibility of permanently relocating to the European country.
“We just got back. We really love it there,” he said of Portugal.

The actor also said he believes that Portugal’s recent 18-hour power outage, which authorities are still investigating, was due to a “cyber attack.”
“And I think that’s just a rehearsal for what will happen here [in the U.S.],” he noted.

Pantoliano then revealed that he keeps “a lot of cash at home, not a lot but enough to get me going for a couple of weeks” in the event of a large-scale emergency. He noted that “it’s buried and there’s no map!”
