Swift’s absence at the game is not a huge surprise, as she hasn’t attended any away games this NFL season.
The pop star has typically only attended Kelce’s home games at Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City, Mo., due to “security concerns.”
“She has worked with Arrowhead so many times, they feel at ease and comfortable,” a source told Page Six last year. “Going to all kinds of different stadiums, you need to send a team in advance.”
Even for her recent appearances at his home games, Swift has been keeping a low profile for safety reasons.
Last month, she snuck into Kelce’s home game against the Philadelphia Eagles by walking behind a large screen on wheels until getting to her private suite.
This past Monday, Swift stayed under the radar at Kelce’s Chiefs vs. Washington Commanders game.
A source confirmed that Swift is on high alert after a stalker attempted to break into her New York City home last year.
“[Swift] has wanted to feel much more protected this year with her security, especially with her current stalker issues,” a source told Daily Mail.

The insider explained that the pop star “doesn’t want her whereabouts known every minute of the day.”
“She wants to be safe, and she wants her family and friends to be safe,” the source explained.
Swift, 35, allegedly also doesn’t want to be “attracting attention” since Kelce, 36, is not “having the best season the first few weeks.”
The “New Heights” podcast host, for his part, has expressed in the past that he doesn’t need his partner to attend every game.
“If you’re dating a professional athlete, I do not believe, at least for me, that you have to go to all the games,” he told WhoSay in a resurfaced clip from 2016.
“I mean, there’s eight home games, eight away games, plus playoffs. I don’t even expect my parents and my friends to make every single game,” he added.
Kelce did, however, note that he wants to be in a relationship with someone who supports his NFL career.
“I need her to cheer when we’re doing awesome, just to make sure that that look is being presented to everyone,” he said.
Kelce and Swift started dating in the summer of 2023 and got engaged two years later in August 2025.
