“Dildos” the actress, 28, simply said to E! News while on the carpet for Variety’s Power of Women event on Wednesday.
“I mean, it’s Cassie,” Sweeney continued. “What do you expect?”
The “Madame Web” alum also shared that production was about to wrap on the high school drama.
“This is actually my last week of filming,” Sweeney confessed. “I film tomorrow and Sunday, and then I wrap.”
While HBO did not officially confirm that this will be the last season of “Euphoria,” the Washington native did allude to it being the end.
“I think it’s gonna be super bittersweet,” Sweeney stated. “I grew up with all these people. I filmed the pilot when I was 20, and then season 1 when I was 21, so it’s definitely a crazy experience having a character with you for so long.”
“I get the privilege of being able to work with a lot of the same crew and the cast for such a long span of time. That usually doesn’t happen. I feel like I’m gonna be bawling my eyes out.”
The star-studded cast includes Zendaya, Hunter Schafer, Jacob Elordi, Maude Apatow, Colman Domingo, Alexa Demie, and Eric Dane.
Angus Cloud, who played fan favorite Fezco, died in July 2023 at the age of 25.
This new season will also feature fresh faces, such as: Sharon Stone, Marshawn Lynch, Rosalía, Natasha Lyonne, Danielle Deadwyler, Eli Roth, Trisha Paytas, and Colleen Camp.
Last month, Elordi, 28, told Variety that the new episodes will be “incredibly clever and cinematic.”
“I don’t know what anyone else is doing,” he admitted. “I had a really singular storyline. You don’t know what the other storylines are. It’s like FBI files.”
“So it’s great because I’ll get to consume the show the same way that everybody else does, as a fan,” added Elordi, “which I haven’t been able to do before.”
Production for season 3 picked up in February after yearslong delays.
Reports were previously published in November 2024 that the show had been canceled. HBO and Max CEO Casey Bloys denied the reports at the time.
“Nothing has changed — we are shooting ‘Euphoria’ … We have a start date: mid to late January,” he said at HBO’s presentation of its 2025 programming slate. “Somebody said something online and then this whole thing started. We are shooting the season. I have read the scripts. We’re happy.”
Bloys added, “I know the show gets a lot of attention now because it has created some genuine movie stars, and they have various projects that they’re working on, but we are shooting this season, so nothing has changed.”
Season 3 is set to hit the streaming platform in Spring 2026.
Meanwhile, on the Power of Women red carpet, Sweeney went sans-bra in a form-fitting Christian Cowan x Elias Matso crystal gown, getting the stamp of approval from her fellow A-listers.
In an Entertainment Tonight video, Jamie Lee Curtis can be seen pointing up and down at the “Anyone But You” actress in awe before hugging her.
Sweeney, meanwhile, was honored at the gala as one of the outlet’s cover stars.
A day prior, the Emmy-nominated actress spoke with Variety about the backlash she received surrounding her appearance before rising to fame.
“I had someone tell me to fix my face or else I’m not going to make it. I should get Botox. I was 16!” Sweeney reflected. “Or I’m in a casting and I’m reading my scene and the casting director is eating a bag of chips, and I’m like, ‘You’re not paying attention at all.’ ”
But the commentary hasn’t influenced the star to try out cosmetic work.
“I’ve never gotten anything done. I’m absolutely terrified of needles. No tattoos. Nothing. I’m going to age gracefully,” Sweeney detailed.
There are many side-by-side photos of the “Immaculate” actress floating around the internet. One picture shows a younger Sweeney while the other image shows the Washington native now.
Online critics have used the shots to prove Sweeney had work done, to which she explained: “It’s really funny.. I’m like, ‘I’m 12 in that photo. Of course, I’m going to look different. I have makeup on now and I’m 15 years older.’ “
Let’s be honest—no matter how stressful the day gets, a good viral video can instantly lift your mood. Whether it’s a funny pet doing something silly, a heartwarming moment between strangers, or a wild dance challenge, viral videos are what keep the internet fun and alive.
