NC State stands in the way of the Yellow Jackets on Saturday, but the Ramblin’ Wreck is a 5.5-point road favorite.

It’s been a disappointing season for the Wolfpack, who still need two wins just to get to a bowl game.

Can NC State play spoiler Saturday?

Georgia Tech vs. NC State odds, prediction

There isn’t much to dislike about what Georgia Tech has done this season.

The Yellow Jackets have turned into an offensive power under the guidance of Buster Faulkner, and Haynes King still has a shot at the Heisman if he continues his roll.

Georgia Tech ranks 14th in FBS in yards per play (6.6), 23rd in yards per game (442.9) and eighth in yards per carry (5.9).

The passing game’s stats pack isn’t as impressive, but it’s still solid, and it’s quite efficient. Georgia Tech has completed 72 percent of its passes in 2025.

With their talismanic dual-threat quarterback serving as the linchpin, the Yellow Jackets keep defenses guessing all game long.

The defense is another story. There is some good, but for the most part, the defense is there to just keep things tidy enough for the offense to do its thing and win the Jackets the ballgame.

Betting on College Football?

That is a dangerous game to play, especially against an offense that can rack up big plays.

It’s been a disappointing season for NC State, but one thing it can do is score.

The Wolfpack average 27 points per contest and put up just less than 394 yards per game, so they should have their fair share of chances Saturday.

Quarterback CJ Bailey can be a game-winner, and the Georgia Tech secondary is especially vulnerable to big plays. Bailey and the ‘Pack can hang with the Ramblin’ Wreck.

Georgia Tech is a wonderful story, but its had some close calls this season, including against Wake Forest. Don’t be surprised if NC State’s offense provides another jolt into the Jackets on Saturday.
