Eli Manning’s son dressed up as Jaxson Dart for Halloween
For now, it seems Eli Manning is going to have to take his wins where he can when it comes to his son Charlie’s football fandom.
The 7-year-old dressed up in a Giants jersey on Friday for Halloween, but it wasn’t Manning’s retired No. 10 from his 16-year career as a Giant that included two Super Bowl victories to solidify him as a franchise legend.

Rather, Charlie sported Jaxson Dart’s No. 6, clearly a fan of the first-year QB who has been winning over fans’ hearts as he has sparked a new energy in the locker room and given his all to turn the organization around, complete with the rookie’s signature good luck chain.
“Charlie said he wanted to dress up as his favorite @Giants quarterback ever for Halloween… guess he got his wish,” Manning posted on X.
At least he is a Giants fan, right?

The 44-year-old Manning addressed the costume choice on the most recent “ManningCast” with older brother Peyton, 49, during “Monday Night Football.”
“Charlie’s dressing up as Jaxson Dart for Halloween,” Eli said during the broadcast of the Chiefs-Commanders game.
Peyton didn’t hesitate with a brotherly response.

“Does it hurt? Does it hurt that he’s picking another Giants quarterback over you?” the former Colts superstar asked his brother, who played his entire 16-year NFL career with the Giants, having led them to Super Bowl wins in 2008 and 2012.
“It hurts a little bit,” Eli admitted.
However, in another punch to the gut for Eli, Charlie wasn’t planning on only wearing the costume for the holiday.
“The problem is… we got it last week and he wants to wear it to school every day,” Eli added. “No, no, no. Halloween costume. Just on Friday. You only get one day to wear it.”
“So, I think he was trying to outsmart us,” he continued. “That was his excuse to get a chain that he could wear full-time.”
It’s hard to blame Charlie after watching Dart earn the Giants their first win of the season against the Chargers after taking over the starting quarterback role from Russell Wilson. The No. 25 overall pick in the draft then led the team to a stunning 34-17 win over the defending champion Eagles on Oct. 9 that has brought some new life to the Big Blue.
During a press conference this week, Dart was asked about Charlie’s costume and smiled from ear to ear.
“I think it’s awesome. I’ve met Charlie a few times,” he said. “Obviously, been around Eli a lot. “I think, like he said, he’s a little disappointed that it wasn’t him. It’s just a cool relationship. I think it’s awesome.”
Eli, also a father to his daughters Ava, 14, Lucy, 12, and Caroline, 10, can only hope none of his other children pull a stunt like this on him, at least in the near future.
