Inside ‘proud’ Chris Evans’ first days as a girl dad after welcoming first child with Alba Baptista

Chris Evans is already one proud girl dad.

The “Captain America” star is reportedly over the moon after welcoming his daughter, Alma Grace Baptista Evans, last weekend.

“Chris is completely in awe of his daughter,” the source told People on Friday. “He’s been soaking in every quiet moment and couldn’t be more proud to be a girl dad.”

A rep for Evans did not immediately respond to Page Six’s request for comment.

Evans, 44, welcomed the baby girl — his first child — with his wife Alba Baptista on Oct. 25 in Massachusetts.

“They’re enjoying their privacy and these special first few days as a family with their baby,” an insider told People on Tuesday when reports of the Marvel’s alum’s bundle of joy first surfaced.

Evans and Baptista, 28, tied the knot in 2023 with two separate wedding ceremonies in Portugal and Massachusetts.

It remains unclear as to when the couple first started dating, but they went public with their romance in 2022.

Their engagement was kept tightly under wraps, but Evans previously revealed he popped the question to his now-wife in Portugese, which is Baptista’s native language.

Around the same time of his September 2023 Massachusetts wedding, a source gave further insight into the couple’s relationship, telling People that the pair “got serious very quickly” after Evans met the actress for the first time in Europe.

“He kept saying he knew she was the one,” the insider noted.

“He has been ready to settle down for a while,” the source added. “He can’t wait to have a family. He was just waiting for the right girl.”
