The woman repeatedly begged Sahibas to stop, but the married private island director continued to grope her in the water, sources told the outlet.
She reported the alleged assault to Bahamas officials based in the US a week after arriving in her home state of Florida, the outlet said.
A written complaint was given to the Royal Bahamas Police Force, and Sahinbas was cuffed in Great Abaco, an island near Castaway Cay.
He appeared in a Nassau Court on Thursday morning after being booked on rape and indecent assault charges, the outlet reported.
Sahibas was granted $15,000 cash bail and ordered not to talk to the victim.
His attorney, Tamika Roberts, also requested that Sahinbas, a British national, be able to return to his home in Liverpool.
A judge granted the request, but Sahinbas will have to return to court in the Bahamas on Jan. 21.
Roberts has since lost his job on the Disney cruise line, the outlet reported.
Disney did not immediately respond to The Post’s request for comment.
Sahibas was recently featured as Castaway Cay’s island director in a Nassau Guardian article, where he was featured helping youngsters learn about agricultural harvesting.
Disney Castaway Cay is a private island reserved exclusively for Disney Cruise Line Guests on Bahamian and Caribbean cruises.
Visitors on the island experience ample amenities, including sprawling beaches, lagoons, and open-air dining locations.
The lush island was snapped up in a 99-year lease signed by the Walt Disney Company in 1996.
