“Not a word of response. So I think, ‘OK, fine.’ I wish her well, but I’m not going to waste blood over that. If you want to waste your life being in resentment, fine, go ahead,” he added.

Anthony — who shares daughter Abigail, 57, with first wife Petronella Barker — said he attempts not to carry “resentment over the past” because that is “death.”

“You’re not living. You have to acknowledge one thing: that we are imperfect,” he added.

“We’re not saints. We’re all sinners and saints or whatever we are. We do the best we can.”

The “Hannibal” star said he believed he “did what [he] could” to resolve the issues with his daughter and wants Abigail to “get over it.”

“Life is painful. Sometimes people get hurt. Sometimes we get hurt,” he shared.

“But you can’t live like that. You have to say, ‘Get over it.’ And if you can’t get over it, fine, good luck to you. I have no judgment. But I did what I could. So that’s it. That’s all I want to say.”

Anthony was then asked if he hoped Abigail would read his forthcoming memoir, “We Did Ok, Kid,” next month, he replied: ‘I’m not going to answer that. No. I don’t care.”

Page Six has reached out to Abigail for comment but did not immediately hear back.

In a 2006 interview with the Telegraph, Abigail recalled how she rarely saw her famous father during her childhood.

“I would see him, but maybe once a year. There is a little bit of sadness but I have to get on with my life,” the singer confessed.

“It has always been like that. See him, and then not. Then, when I was 16, there was some row,”

Twelve years later, Anthony shared that he didn’t “care” to know whether or not he had grandchildren.

Anthony’s memoir, “We Did Ok, Kid,” is set to be released on Nov. 4.

“I don’t have any idea. People break up. Families split and, you know, ‘Get on with your life.’ People make choices,” he told Radio Times in 2018.

“I don’t care one way or the other. You don’t have to like your family. Children don’t like their fathers. You don’t have to love each other.”

That same year, Anthony shared that he would not “waste” his time fixing his issues with his estranged daughter.
