Human remains found in package in Brooklyn
Human remains were found in a package outside a Brooklyn home early Friday morning, police said.
The body parts were left lying on a sidewalk near 557 E. 21st St. in Flatbush and discovered at 9:14 a.m.

Police responded and determined belonged to a dead man, authorities said. They did not give details on what body parts were found or their condition.
The city Office of Chief Medical Examiner will determine the cause of death or who the remains belong to, police said.
The investigation remains ongoing.
