‘WWHL’: Andy Cohen Warns Jeff Lewis Not To “P*ss Those Swifties Off” After Lewis Says He “Does Not Give A Sh*t” About Taylor Swift’s New Album

If there wasn’t bad blood between Jeff Lewis and Taylor Swift before, there might be now.

On Sunday night’s (Oct. 12) episode of Watch What Happens Live, host Andy Cohen invited two of Bravo’s shadiest personalities—Lewis and Real Housewives of Potomac star Ashley Darby—to break down the latest in pop culture in a game of “Does Jeff Give a Damn?”

While Lewis did “give a damn” about Real Housewives of Salt Lake City star Meredith Marks becoming a DJ, attending BravoCon in Las Vegas next month, and Rachel Zoe joining The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, he was less enthused by the thought of Swift’s new album The Life of a Showgirl, which has been all the craze since it dropped on Oct. 3.

“Jeff does not give a shit,” he bluntly told Cohen, while Darby added, “Amen. We’re on the same page.”

Meanwhile, Cohen jumped in to save his guests from facing the wrath of Swift’s devoted fanbase.

“You do not want to piss those Swifties off. Just be very careful,” he warned, prompting Lewis to walk back his previous answer.

“Sorry, Jeff really cares. Jeff gives a damn and is so excited,” Lewis told viewers as he stared directly into the camera, while Cohen added, “That is the correct answer.”

Cohen must’ve learned a thing or two about what happens when his guests shade Swift from the time Denise Welch appeared on WWHL. Welch, the mother of Swift’s ex-boyfriend Matty Healy, commented on the singer writing about her short-lived relationship with The 1975 frontman in her 2024 album, The Tortured Poets Department.

“Obviously, on pain of death can I talk about that episode. But not being her mother-in-law is a role that I’m glad that I lost,” Welch said in a July episode of WWHL, stunning Cohen. “Not that I have anything against her at all. It was tricky.”

Welch added, “Listen, you’re not allowed to say anything and then she writes a whole album about it. But, Matty has taken it all in good grace. He’s very happy with his amazing fiancée Gabbriette, who is gorgeous. So, we’ve moved on.”

Watch What Happens Live airs Sunday through Thursday at 10 p.m. ET on Bravo. New episodes are available to stream the next day on Peacock.
