Brianna “Chickenfry” LaPaglia Drags Ex-Boyfriend Zach Bryan In ‘Special Forces’: “Got Famous On TikTok And Thinks He’s God”

Brianna “Chickenfry” LaPaglia tearfully opened up about her past relationship with country music singer Zach Bryan in the latest episode of Special Forces: World’s Toughest Test.

“I met my ex-boyfriend through Instagram DMs, like any regular person nowadays would,” LaPaglia, who co-hosts Barstool Sports’ BFFs podcast, explained in her confessional. “It was a very fast-moving relationship, where I should’ve seen a lot of red flags. But I was blinded by a lot of things.”

The internet personality confirmed her relationship with Bryan in July 2023, and in October 2024, Bryan revealed on his Instagram Stories that they had broken up. Since then, LaPaglia has been open about the alleged emotional abuse she faced from the singer.

“My ex is a super famous musician. He was awful towards me,” she told her fellow recruits in Special Forces. “He got famous on TikTok and thinks he’s God.”

With the DS curious to know what lies beneath the surface, LaPaglia got called in for questioning from DS Billy Billingham and DS Jason “Foxy” Fox.

Through tears, she told them, “I was in a bad relationship. But it was a public relationship with a famous person, and it was just like I would leave my house with a smile, but nobody knew what was happening. I was in a bad spot.”

LaPaglia also spoke about an NDA that Bryan’s team allegedly wanted her to sign to stop her from speaking publicly about their relationship.

“I lost sight of myself and I just didn’t want to be here anymore. It was just a dark hole to climb out of,” she said. “He offered me $12.9 million to sign away my voice. He tried to [silence me]. I didn’t take it.”

“I was that strong girl making videos for girls of what not to do, and who to stay away from, and how to be strong,” she continued. “And then I don’t even know what the fuck happened, because it happened to me.”

If you’re not familiar with the country music scene, we can understand how there could be some confusion between Zach Bryan and Zac Brown. After all, there names are so similar!

Brown, the lead singer of Zac Brown Band, has been around for decades. He sings island country hits like “Toes,” “Knee Deep,” and, of course, “Chicken Fried.” Now, that’s not to be confused with Brianna “Chickenfry,” who dated Zach BRYAN, a completely different artist.

Bryan, formerly in the U.S. Navy, went viral in 2019 after he posted a video of himself singing his song, “Heading South,” outside of his barracks. But his big break arguably came with the 2022 release of his album, American Heartbreak, and his hit song, “Something in the Orange,” both of which he was nominated for at the 2023 Grammys.
