What’s TV without a little Matlock? Thankfully, CBS renewed its popular series for a second season back in October 2024.

When Does Matlock Return With New Episodes?

The second season of Matlock premieres Sunday, October 12 at 8:30 p.m. ET on CBS. The series moves to its regular time slot on Thursday, October 16.

Thursday night begins with the second season premiere of Georgie & Mandy’s First Marriage, followed by the Season 5 debut of Ghosts at 8:30 p.m. ET. Matlock‘s second episode of the new season (“Another Matlock”) will air at 9:01 p.m. ET, with Elsbeth ending the night at 10:00 p.m. ET.
