10-year-old Texas girl said bullies chopped her hair off — it all turned out to be a hoax after mom posted emotional TikTok video
A 10-year-old Texas girl broke hearts when her mother claimed bullies cut off her hair while she slept on a school bus – except the school says it never happened.
Compass Rose Public Schools said this week that little Taylor Castillo’s claim didn’t was investigated and didn’t stand up – while the girl’s mom has yanked her bullying claim on TikTok, the Daily Mail reported.

“After carefully reviewing hours of us footage and speaking directly with students and staff, we confirmed that false information has been shared,” the school said on Facebook.

“The evidence clearly showed that there was no bullying or misconduct by others.”
The claim had sparked outrage after the girl’s mom, Andie Rae Castillo, reported the alleged abuse on TikTok, posting that, “It’s gone [too f—-ing] far now,” the Mail reported. “This is beyond bullying. This is assault.”
“The kids are so cruel and mean,” she wrote. “My baby is the sweetest damn kid. She is so nice and sweet to everyone, I don’t understand why anyone would treat my sweet girl this way.”

She posted a photo of her doe-eyed daughter with her hair chopped, and said she would be “raising hell at that school” in the morning.
In a follow-up TikTok post on Tuesday, Andie Castillo stuck by her claim, and said her youngster had been bullied for three years.
“If its multiple kids, which her bullying situation has been multiple kids, they don’t consider it bullying,” she said. “I guess it’s just considered being picked on, and there’s nothing they can do about kids getting picked on.”
She later posted that her lying daughter had said sorry to “everybody she needed to apologize to,” but refused to force her daughter to make a public apology as the principal of the school requested.
