Bad Bunny has a viral fan moment during Yankees’ ALDS Game 3



The stars were out in The Bronx for Game 3, and that included one of the biggest artists on the planet.

Bad Bunny was sitting in the second row just to the side of home plate for the do-or-die game for the Yankees when he ended up with a souvenir to remember a classic Yankees playoff victory.

Anthony Santander was at the plate when the Blue Jays’ right fielder popped up a foul ball into the stands behind the plate, with the ball nearly hitting Bad Bunny in the head as it came down.

The Puerto Rican music artist had his hand over his head to try and keep himself from getting clunked by the ball. A clip posted by MLB then cut to Bad Bunny holding the ball, raising it above his head, and smiling. 

The playoff game drew plenty of familiar faces on Tuesday night, where the Yankees defeated the Blue Jays 9-6 to keep their postseason run alive for one more game. 

Hall of Famer CC Sabathia threw out the first pitch, and St. John’s coach Rick Pitino was spotted in the crowd, as was injured Giants receiver Malik Nabers. 

Director Spike Lee was spotted with his son Jackson Lee in seats behind the Yankees’ dugout.

U.S. Representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez was in attendance for the showdown, according to a photo posted to social media by one fan.

The Yankees rallied from behind, led by Aaron Judge’s three-run homer in the fourth inning and a solo shot by Jazz Chisholm Jr. in the fifth. 

Game 4 will take place at Yankee Stadium on Wednesday night with the Bombers now trailing 2-1 in the series.
