CNN’s Kaitlan Collins reveals staffers dread traveling with Trump for this reason

CNN correspondent Kaitlan Collins revealed staffers secretly dread traveling with President Trump aboard Air Force One because “he does not sleep.”

During her appearance on “The Bachelorette” star Jason Tartick’s business podcast “Trading Secrets” on Monday, the pair discussed Trump’s shockingly low need for sleep.

“He does not sleep,” Collins said. “I had this source who said, ‘You never want to be on Air Force One on a trip.’ And I said, ‘Why? You’d think you’d want to be in the axis of power, close to Trump.’”

“He doesn’t sleep on these trips, and you’re going to Asia or something, and that’s like the only time you’re going to sleep before you go on this trip, but Trump is just always up and talking,” the chief White House correspondent continued. 

The president will even “wake staff up if they’re asleep because he wants to talk to them,” Collins, who also hosts “The Source with Kaitlan Collins,” added.

After Tartick revealed that he had only slept for four hours the night before the podcast, Collins chimed in: “Four hours is nuts. Four hours is Trump-level.”

Tartick – who recently appeared on “Fox & Friends” to discuss home buying tips for young people – said he had also heard of Trump’s ability to run on little sleep while he was taking a tour of Fox News’ studios.

The podcast host said a producer in the control room told him: “None of us are sleeping because the president doesn’t sleep.”

“We’re all working two times right now,” the producer allegedly said.

Collins claimed Trump is so notorious for his lack of sleep that staffers preparing for the president’s upcoming trip to Southeast Asia “know you’re not gonna sleep on that flight.”
