‘Him’ Comes to Digital, But When Will the ‘Him’ 2025 Movie Be Streaming on Peacock?

The 2025 movie Him is coming to digital platforms to buy and rent tomorrow, less than three weeks after the movie opened in theaters. So if you want to watch a brand new horror movie at home this spooky season, now is your chance.

Directed by Justin Tipping, Him was co-written by Tipping, Skip Bronkie, and Zack Akers. (Despite being talked about as a “new Jordan Peele movie,” Peele did not write or direct. However, Peele did produce via his Monkeypaw Productions.) This new horror movie stars Marlon Wayans as Isaiah White, a fictional NFL quarterback who mentors a young up-and-coming player named Cam (played by Tyriq Withers). Cam knows his training will be intense, but he wasn’t exactly expecting so much blood, violence, and cult-like rituals.

Also starring Julia Fox, Tim Heidecker, and Jim Jefferies, Him was not well-received by critics, and was a box-office failure, making just $25.2 million worldwide, which is less than it’s estimated production budget of $27 million. Perhaps Him will find its audience at home. But if you don’t want to pay $25, you should know that we expect to see Him streaming on both Peacock and Amazon Prime Video in the coming months.

Where to watch the Him 2025 movie on streaming:

Beginning on Tuesday, October 7 at 12 a.m. Eastern Time (which is also October 6 at 9 p.m. Pacific Time) Him will be available to buy and rent digitally on Amazon Prime, Apple TV, Fandango At Home, and more. The price may vary depending on which platform you use to purchase the film, but on Amazon Prime the film costs $24.99 to buy a digital copy, and $19.99 to rent. If you rent the movie, you’ll have 48 hours to watch the movie after hitting “play.”

Him will also be released on DVD, 4K UHD, and Blu-ray on November 11, 2025. Both the digital release (when you buy at participating retailers) and DVD release will come with bonus features, including an alternate ending, a deleted end credits scene, five more deleted scenes, a director’s commentary with Justin Tipping, and behind-the-scenes featurettes.

Him is not yet streaming on any subscription streaming services, but we do expect to see Him streaming on Peacock soon, because it is a Universal movie and Peacock is the streaming service owned by Universal. After that, Him will stream on Amazon Prime, thanks to a deal between Universal and Amazon.

When will the Him 2025 movie be streaming on Peacock?

The Him movie streaming release date on Peacock has not yet been announced, but we know that Him will stream on Peacock eventually because it is a Universal movie, and Peacock is the streaming service owned by Universal. All the new Universal theatrical movies end up streaming on Peacock, though the wait period has varied by title.

Another smaller Universal release, The Phoenician Scheme, began streaming on Peacock about two months after the movie opened in theaters. If Him follows a similar release pattern, you might see the movie streaming on Peacock around mid-to-late November 2025.

When will Him 2025 be streaming free on Amazon Prime Video?

You will eventually be able to stream Him on Prime Video, free with a Prime subscription, four months after the movie streams on Peacock. This is thanks to the deal between Universal and Amazon that sends Universal movies to Peacock for the first four months of the “Pay 1 window,” then to Amazon Prime Video for the next months of the window, followed by four more months on Peacock. If our prediction for when Him will be on Peacock is correct, then you should see Him streaming on Prime around April 2026.

This is all speculation. Universal has not had a consistent digital release strategy. The Woman in the Yard, for example, took three months to stream on Peacock, rather than two. So it varies by title. If you want to watch the Him movie right away, you can buy or rent a digital copy online.
