Steven Fisk’s wife overcome with emotion after his first PGA Tour win
It’s a moment Steven Fisk and his wife, Edith, surely won’t forget.
Upon sinking a birdie putt Sunday on the 18th in the final round of the Sanderson Farms Championship, the PGA Tour rookie sweetly embraced his biggest supporter on the green at The Country Club of Jackson in Mississippi, where he captured his first Tour victory and the $1.08 million prize.

In footage of the triumphant scene, Edith — whose love story with Fisk dates back to at least 2018 — is seen clapping on the side before leaping into the golfer’s arms and kissing him after he finished 24-under par.
“I’m so proud of you,” she gushed in a video posted to the PGA Tour’s X page.
Fisk posted a 2-under 70 in Thursday’s opening round before storming his way up the leaderboard, carding a 7-under 65 in back-to-back days.
He closed out the event Sunday with an 8-under 64 that included three straight birdies on the back nine.
“Based on the scores earlier this week, I didn’t have a target score in mind today, but […] I knew it was going to require more birdies than anything else. Just trying to make as many as I possibly could because I knew I’d need them at the end,” Fisk said, per PGATour.com.
A Georgia native, Fisk started golfing at the age of 5, due in part to his parents constructing and owning a driving range and par-3 course in Stockbridge, his hometown, according to his PGA Tour profile.
He notched his first Korn Ferry win in April 2024 at the Club Car Championship.
“What a special week getting my first @kornferrytour win in Savannah!” Fisk exclaimed on Instagram. “Thank you to everyone that has helped, supported, and followed my career over the years. This is just the beginning!”
