How Taylor Swift nods to Travis Kelce in ‘The Fate of Ophelia’ music video

Taylor Swift paid homage to her Travis Kelce in her music video for “The Fate of Ophelia” by following in her NFL-playing fiancé’s footsteps.

The pop star adorably caught a football as she raced down a hallway in Sunday’s video while singing, “Pledge allegiance to your hands, your team, your vibes.”

The Grammy winner, who released the video on Kelce’s 36th birthday, also subtly featured her partner’s jersey number, 87, on a hotel room door.

Additionally, the singer included a black-and-white photo of the athlete on a vanity mirror, as spotted by eagle-eyed fans.

Before “The Fate of Ophelia” even premiered via YouTube over the weekend — two days after its movie theater release — social media users called out the picture.

“Omg a photo of Travis in the back lmao,” a fan tweeted on Friday.

One Swiftie replied, “I saw this the second time they played the video and squealed! I knew there was more of him somewhere.”

Others speculated about where the shot came from, with guesses ranging from the tight end’s 2016 “Catching Kelce” reality show to his “Grotesquerie” role last year.

Many claimed it was a still from Kelce’s “Kiss, Marry, Kill” interview, during which he chose to smooch his now-fiancée.

During the AfterBuzz TV interview, the Kansas City Chiefs player decided to wed Katy Perry and kill Ariana Grande.

He went viral for shooting his shot with Swift seven years later during a “New Heights” podcast episode.

The NFL star called out the songwriter in July 2023 for not accepting him backstage so he could give her his number — and the duo went public with their romance two months later.

Kelce popped the question in August.

Swift, who teased a “huge” wedding in her “Life of a Showgirl” promo on Friday, wrote many songs about her fiancé for her 12th album.

Not only is “Wood” her raunchiest song yet, but Swift also gave insight into their relationship with “Opalite” and “Wi$h List.”
