A.J. Brown spoke loudly this week about his quiet season so far, but the star receiver is not expected to be moved ahead of the Nov. 4 trade deadline.
The Eagles are “extremely unlikely” to deal Brown, according to a report Sunday by NFL Network.

The three-time Pro Bowler has totaled just 14 receptions for 151 yards — a career-low 10.8 yards per catch — with one touchdown through the defending Super Bowl champions’ 4-0 start entering Sunday’s home game against the Broncos (2-2).
The 28-year-old Brown apologized earlier this week for a cryptic social media post depicting his frustration following last week’s win over the Bucs that read, “If you’re not welcome, not listened to, quietly withdraw. Don’t make a scene. Shrug your shoulders and be on your way.”
“I don’t think it’s a bad thing for wanting the ball,” Brown told reporters in Philadelphia on Wednesday.
“It’s not just for targets or anything, to put numbers up, no. I see that we’re struggling, and I’m a guy that wants the ball in those times when we can’t find a way. Give it to me. When the game’s on the line, give the ball to me.”

Quarterback Jalen Hurts has averaged just 152.3 passing yards per game with five touchdown passes through four contests, and the Eagles rank 30th overall in the league in total yardage under new offensive coordinator Kevin Patullo.
Fellow receiver DeVonta Smith also is off to a slow start despite leading the team with 17 receptions for 158 yards, but Hurts and Saquon Barkley have combined for seven touchdowns on the ground.
Brown, who signed a three-year, $96 million extension last year through 2029, added that he “absolutely” wants to remain in Philadelphia.
“This is my home, you know? I did it to myself. But this is my home, man. I love it here,” Brown said. “But you just see frustration because obviously we want to be great and most definitely I want to be great, as well.”
