The pop star, 35, “liked” an Instagram reel by the Guyset Podcast about the leaks.
“Apparently Taylor Swift’s album leaked and that’s f–ked,” host Josh Felgoise said in his video. “There’s less than 24 hours to go until the album drops. You can’t wait a little longer? Like, no, no! That is one thing I will never do. You’ll never catch me listening to a leak of an album.”
“That’s messed up,” he continued. “I wanna listen to it the way it was intended. Like, I wanna listen to it with full production. I don’t need to know anything early. I wanna listen to it the way that it’s supposed to happen. I like all the theorizing. I like all the predictions of what’s gonna happen, what’s it going to sound like, what’s she gonna say, what’s the blah blah. I like that stuff. That makes this fun!”
Felgoise added: “That’s all part of the fun. Don’t ruin the fun. Don’t ruin the party. Why do people feel the need to ruin the party?”
The content creator noted that he was “late to the party” regarding his fandom, explaining that he became a Swiftie when she put out her eighth album, “Folklore,” in 2020.
“But you’re never gonna catch me showing up late to the party and then ruining it for everybody else,” Felgoise said. “That would never be me. That’s messed up.”
Felgoise later shared a follow-up video reacting to Swift “liking” his oroginal clip.
“This has to be the most insane thing that has happened, he said. “Holy sh-t, what are you talking about? Hey Taylor! This is insane, oh my god. Her album is coming out in an hour. I’m excited. I can’t f—ing wait.”
Swift’s 12-track album leaked Thursday after some fans seemingly received their physical copies.
The Grammy Award winner made “The Life of a Showgirl” with producers Max Martin and Shellback. The album features a song with Sabrina Carpenter.
Swift announced her latest record on her fiancé Travis Kelce and his brother Jason Kelce’s podcast, “New Heights,” in August.
“It was really special,” she said about making the album. “It meant the world to me to have this creative experience where we knew we had to bring the best ideas we’ve ever had. I also know the pressure I’m putting on this record by saying that, but I don’t care because I love it that much.”
