“I’m going away for a while,” Young wrote on social media Tuesday. “It pains me to say I have to cancel everything for the foreseeable future.”
The artist went on to thank her fans for “all the love and support” before issuing an apology.
“I’m so sorry to let anyone down who has bought a ticket to see me, it hurts me more than you know,” continued Young. “Obviously you will be entitled to a full refund.”
The TikTok star released an album, “I’m Only F–king Myself,” on September 19.
“I really hope you’ll give me a second chance once I’ve had some time to work on myself and come back stronger,” concluded Young.
Friends and fans alike flocked to the comment section to rally around the star.
Kehlani wrote, “you come first!!!” while Hayley Kiyoko chimed in, “We aren’t going anywhere. You are so loved!”
Rounding out the sweet messages, one follower penned, “love you so much lola! we’ll be waiting until you can come back. much respect to you for taking the time that you absolutely deserve. sending you all of my love and support always🫶🏽.”
The Post has reached out to Young’s rep for comment.
As seen in a social media clip posted over the weekend, Young sang her 2024 hit “Conceited” when she suddenly fell backwards onto the floor.
She was then carried off-stage by medical team staff, before her labelmate Remi Wolf came out to address the crowd.
“That was really f—ing scary,” Wolf, 29, told the audience, per People.
“My friend Lola is backstage, and she is okay,” she added.
Young later spoke out about the incident, assuring fans that everything was alright via Instagram Stories.
“Hi, for anyone who saw my set at All Things Go today, I am doing OK now,” she wrote. “Thank you for all of your support, Lola xxx.”
Before collapsing, Young had told the crowd that she “had a tricky couple of days.”
“Sometimes life can really make you feel like you can’t continue, but you know what, today I woke up and I made the decision to come here, and I wanted to be cool … and sometimes life can throw you lemons, and you just gotta make lemonade,” she said.
The “Messy” artist previously canceled a performance in New Jersey on Friday for mental health reasons.
Her manager, Nick Shymansky, wrote on his Instagram Stories that Young made the call “due to a sensitive matter.”
“Lola is very open about her mental health and there are very occasionally days where myself and my team have to take protective measures to keep her safe,” the talent manager shared.
“There are [occasionally] days where myself and my team have to take protective measures to keep her safe,” detailed Shymansky. “She is an incredible person and always takes her fans, career and performances seriously. I can only send huge apologies for the inconvenience caused.”
In August, Young admitted to The Guardian that going on tour has “been a struggle.”
“I’ve definitely had to work on some internal healing while grappling with touring and stuff,” she explained. “I’ve had to be away for a bit while battling with things.”
“But it teaches you a lot, being addicted to substances,” Young reflected. “It makes you more empathetic about other people that have gone through that. It’s just a constant journey.”
Young has been candid about her mental health struggles, explaining on Instagram in 2022 how her life changed after her schizoaffective disorder diagnosis at 17.
According to the Mayo Clinic, the condition is “marked by a mix of schizophrenia symptoms, such as hallucinations and delusions, and mood disorder symptoms, such as depression, mania and a milder form of mania called hypomania.”
“I can’t find the words to describe how much this diagnosis has affected my entire life, and my outlook on the world around me,” Young wrote. “I have struggled immensely learning to accept this part of myself, and I am still learning.”
“I have to remind myself that I am a regular f–king person,” she added. “I am human and I am, like everyone, capable of incredible things, my mental health condition does not define me. It is my superpower.”
Young shot to stardom following the release of her single “Messy” in 2024.
The hit track reached No. 14 on the Billboard Hot 100 in the U.S.
“I’m Only F–king Myself,” meanwhile, hit No. 3 on the U.K. Album Chart a week after its release.
