Little Spoon has launched at Target — a major win for parents
For parents of little ones, especially picky eaters, mealtime can feel like a daily battle. Then, if you have the entire family to feed, it may as well be considered an Olympic sport.
Between picking ingredients, shopping, cooking, and serving it all up, getting healthy food on the table that your little one will actually eat is no small feat. Little Spoon wants to change that, and now, they’re making it even easier by bringing top-rated kids’ meals to Target’s shelves.

Since launching in 2017, the New York City-based baby food brand has made it its mission to create real, high-quality baby and toddler food made with clean, junk-free ingredients. The kind you can actually pronounce — not your typical processed goos or shelf-stable purees in plastic pouches.
Little Spoon’s meals and snacks are designed by experts to support kids at every stage of eating

Little Spoon currently operates as a flexible meal-delivery subscription service, offering a delightful variety of meals and snacks. From beginner Babyblends and teething-friendly meltable Puffs, to finger-friendly Biteables and balanced Plates for toddlers and big kids, there is a little something for every age. Even some parents admit to stealing Little Spoon off their kids’ plates — they’re just that fresh and tasty.
Angela Vranich, the company’s co-founder and Chief Product Officer, shared that Little Spoon has been a leading direct-to-consumer brand for years, and launching at Target is a natural next step in the brand’s evolution. Little Spoon listens to parents’ feedback and hopes that launching at Target will make mealtime even easier.
“The reality is that most parents still buy their kids’ food in-store, and 80% of our existing customers already shop at Target,” Vranich shared. “Launching with Target was a natural next step — it allows us to meet parents where they are, in a place they already love and trust, while bringing our innovation and quality to shelves in a way that’s never been done before.”
Vranich also pointed out that many baby food brands found on retail shelves are filled with seed oils, additives, sugar, and often come with confusing labels. Little Spoon doesn’t skip any steps; all of its baby and toddler products are tested for over 500 toxins and contaminants. It’s the first and only baby food brand to test against some of the strictest, EU-aligned safety standards.
This fall, Little Spoon is also launching its “Built for This” campaign, rooted in the belief that parents shouldn’t have to choose between health, convenience, and joy when it comes to feeding their kids. Bringing Little Spoon’s latest line of products to Target is a major step toward fulfilling that vision.
“It’s about designing every product to be built for the reality of raising children today — the mess, the picky eating, the busy schedules — and creating solutions that truly make family life easier,” said Vranich.”Families have asked for the ability to buy their kids’ favorite meal components separately, so we developed three first-of-their-kind products.”
Little Spoon’s brand-new Frozen Multiserve line is now sold exclusively at Target. The launch includes Super Chicken Dippers — made without seed oils and packed with hidden veggies, Chicken Veggie Sliders — mini protein-packed patties perfect for little hands, and Mini Turkey Kale Meatballs — a versatile, nutrient-dense staple for busy nights.
Target shoppers will also be able to stock their fridges with Little Spoon’s best-selling YoGos and tasty, sugar-free smoothie flavors

These portable snacks are a cult-favorite among many of Little Spoon’s fans, who have mentioned they’re the “perfect on-the-go snack” and the flavors are “tasty, smooth, balanced, and just a touch sweet.”

“We know parents are navigating a food landscape full of mistrust, limited options, and a lot of compromise,” explained Vranich. “Our mission has always been to take that stress off parents’ plates so they can focus on enjoying mealtime with their kids.”
Little Spoon set out to create food that kids love and parents can genuinely trust. With its recent launch at Target, the brand isn’t just expanding — it’s proving that success in the baby food space doesn’t come from cutting corners, but from setting even higher standards.
