Nicole Kidman, Keith Urban seen in last public outing before split
Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban were last seen in public together just a few short months before news broke of their surprising separation.
The “Big Little Lies” star, 58, and “Somebody Like You” singer, 57, were all smiles as they stood side by side at a 2025 FIFA Club World Cup match in Nashville, Tennessee, on June 20, giving no indication their marriage was crumbling.

Kidman and Urban attended the event just five days before their 19-year wedding anniversary, and only three months before the news of their split was first made public on Monday, Sept. 29.
Photos of the former couple showed the “Babygirl” star sporting a cream-colored dress and smiling at her husband as the Los Angeles Football Club faced off against the Esperance de Tunis at Geodis Park.
Urban, meanwhile, donned sunglasses and an off-white plaid shirt. Like Kidman, he could be seen smiling as the pair talked and watched the FIFA match unfold.
Five days later, the “Eyes Wide Shut” actress shared a sweet black-and-white snap of herself and her hubby on Instagram to commemorate 19 years of marriage.
“Happy Anniversary Baby,” she wrote alongside the pic with a heart emoji.
The Grammy winner, however, was not featured in any of the “summer memories” Kidman shared two months later.
Instead, the Aug. 19 photo dump included pics of Kidman with her and Urban’s daughters, Sunday, 17, and Faith, 14, as well as other family members.
“Summer memories,” Kidman wrote with another heart emoji. “Now back to school.”
The Post confirmed the news of Kidman and Urban’s separation on Monday.
A source told Page Six that the “Practical Magic 2” star did not want to split up and tried saving their relationship, while sources told TMZ that Urban has already moved out of the family home for his own pad in Nashville.
Insiders also claimed the pair has been living separately “since the beginning of summer,” leaving Kidman to take care of daughters Sunday and Faith while “holding the family together through this difficult time since Keith has been gone.”
Urban, who is currently on tour and is scheduled to perform in Hershey, Pennsylvania, on Thursday, Oct. 2, reportedly initiated the breakup.
Kidman and the country superstar tied the knot on June 25, 2006, more than one year after meeting at the G’Day USA Gala in January 2005.
The “Aquaman” star opened up about the moment she first met Urban during an appearance on “The Ellen DeGeneres Show” in 2017.
“I remember thinking, I had such a crush on him, and he wasn’t interested in me,” she shared at the time. “It’s true! He didn’t call me for four months.”
The former “American Idol” judge, meanwhile, explained why he took so long to call Kidman during a sit-down on the Australian show “Interview” in 2018.
“I thought she was way out of my league,” he said. “I might have a wild imagination of possibilities in life, obviously, but not in a million years did I think that somebody like that would be interested in me. At all.”
The Post reached out to Kidman and Urban’s reps for comment, but did not immediately hear back.
