Why Madison LeCroy was desperate to get back to filming ‘Southern Charm’ after giving birth



Madison LeCroy took “no days off” from filming “Southern Charm” Season 11 after giving birth to daughter Teddi on June 29, but she wouldn’t have had it any other way.

“I went back to work immediately. It’s been great,” the 34-year-old gushes to Page Six in an exclusive interview. “I’m filming a reality show during the birth of my child, so there were no days off for me.”

LeCroy, who announced Teddi’s arrival during an Amazon Live on July 3, has a love-hate relationship with the Bravo reality show on which she’s starred since 2019’s Season 6.

“Work is — I low-key love it. Sometimes, I hate it,” she confesses, but it also gives her “an outlet,” especially in the early days, weeks and months of postpartum, which can sometimes feel monotonous.

Having a camera crew in her and husband Brett Randle’s Charleston, SC, home while engaging with her co-stars gives LeCroy an added layer of purpose.

Otherwise, she would feel like she had “nothing” to do while “sitting around waiting for time to pass.”

The hairstylist — who shares son Hudson, 12, with first husband Josh Hughes — tells us that living her life in front of an audience is “second nature” at this point.

“As far as going back to the show and things like that, that’s the part you sign up for. My job is my reality,” she notes.

“You guys have seen me through not being married and being a single mom to then having a husband and welcoming a new baby. So it felt right. It didn’t feel too overbearing. I kind of knew it was gonna come.”

“It was honestly, like, probably one of the worst things I’ve ever had to do,” she previously told Us Weekly.

“I don’t know if it was one, being dead sober, or two, just being extremely heavy and very hot,” she quipped. “I was dying.”
