Ariana Grande calls out President Trump’s supporters with scathing post

Ariana Grande reposted a scathing rant calling out President Trump’s supporters via Instagram Stories over the weekend.

The lengthy social media upload began by “check[ing] in with Trump voters” 250 days post-inauguration.

The post, which was originally shared by “A Bit Fruity” podcast host Matt Bernstein, pointed out that “immigrants have been violently torn from their families and communities have been destroyed … trans people have been blamed for virtually everything and live in fear [and] that free speech is on the brink of collapse for us all.”

Bernstein then asked one “very genuine” question to those who voted for Trump: “Has your life gotten better?”

“Have your groceries gotten cheaper? Has your health insurance premium gone down? Has your work/life balance improved?” he continued.

“Can you take a vacation yet? Are you happier? Has the widespread suffering of others paid off for you in the way he promised it would, or are you still waiting?”

Grande, 32, did not include any additional commentary in her repost on Saturday.

The Grammy winner made it clear in November 2024 that she voted for Kamala Harris, letting her Instagram followers know on Election Day that she submitted her Florida ballot early.

When Trump, 79, defeated Harris, 60, Grande shared a message of support for those “feeling the immeasurable heaviness of this outcome today.”

The “Wicked” star went on to share resources for LGBTQ+ fans.

The actress shared a similar sentiment when Hillary Clinton lost the presidency to Trump in 2016 while predicting “a very dark few years” would follow.

“Let’s please be active and vocal every day toward making each other feel accepted and loved for our differences. not just on election day. please,” she wrote. “it’s the only way we will be able to get through.”

Two years later, she subtly dissed the “Apprentice” alum in her “Thank U, Next” music video by reading an “Immigration and Refugee Law and Policy” book.

The songwriter’s mom, Joan Grande, confirmed via X that this was a dig at Trump and called Ariana a “passionate advocate for humanity.”

When Carrie Underwood performed at Trump’s inauguration, Ariana “liked” a shady post quipping that the “American Idol” alum, 42, struggled to “find the note.”

That same month, Ariana reposted another of Bernstein’s uploads when Trump signed an executive order recognizing only “two sexes, male and female.”

The post read, “okay, sure, whatever you say. but let’s be very clear: queer and trans people were here before donald trump and will continue to be here after he’s dead. whether or not you want us to exist is secondary to the simple fact that we do.”

Bernstein concluded, “the sun does not care if you sign an executive order telling it to stop rising each morning. it just continues to rise.”

Ariana’s brother, Frankie Grande, is gay, and the singer wrote about the 42-year-old’s sexuality in a 2018 “love letter to the LGBTQ community.”

“I can’t remember a difference between Frankie before he came out and Frankie after he came out. He’s always just been Frankie,” she gushed at the time.

“I am eternally indebted to and inspired by the LGBTQ community. I hope to create anthems for you that wrap you up with comfort and make you get your best life for as long as I live.”
