Zohran Mamdani
With Adams now out, New Yorkers should head to the polls to keep Zohran Mamdani out of City Hall, writes columnist Miranda Devine. Stefano Giovannini

According to the latest Emerson poll, Mamdani is a shoo-in to win in November, with 43% of the vote (before Adams dropped out), and the rest split among Cuomo (28%), Sliwa (10%) and Adams (7%).

New Yorkers dreading Mamdani’s tender mercies ought to get off their couches and vote for once. In a city where as few as 20% of registered voters bother casting a ballot, that means 6 percent of the entire population decide the fate of the rest.

Apathy is our enemy.
