Gabe Perreault and Brennan Othmann replaced Conor Sheary and Brett Berard in the main training camp group Saturday at MSG Training Center after the rookies skated with the Hartford group the day before.

Such is an indication of the players who are on the bubble of making the Rangers’ opening-night roster.

Perreault and Othmann skated on lines that are projected to serve as the third unit in the Blueshirts lineup.

While Perreault lined up on the left wing of Noah Laba and Jonny Brodzinski, Othmann was on the left of Juuso Parssinen and Taylor Raddysh.

“Whenever I’m in, I’ll be ready to go,” Perreault said after the first exhibition game.

The rest of the lineup is beginning to take shape for what we can expect to see in Game 1 of the 2025-26 season.

Will Cuylle has skated on the left wing of J.T. Miller and Mika Zibanejad and the all-too-familiar unit of Artemi Panarin-Vincent Trocheck-Alexis Lafrenière have been back together again.

The Rangers’ most prolific fourth line last season, featuring Adam Edstrom, Sam Carrick and Matt Rempe, has also been reunited.

Connor Mackey replaced Matthew Robertson in the main group Saturday, taking his spot on the left side of Scott Morrow.

As has been the case, Vladislav Gavrikov skated with Adam Fox.

The pairings of Carson Soucy-Will Borgen and Urho Vaakanainen-Braden Schneider rounded out the rest of the Rangers defense.

Nathan Aspinall, the Rangers’ 159th overall pick in 2024, was assigned to his junior team, the Ontario Hockey League’s Flint Firebirds.

As he nurses a lower-body injury, Panarin continued to skate with the team in a red non-contact jersey Saturday.

The Rangers are off Sunday before they return to preseason action Monday against the Islanders at UBS Arena.

Let’s be honest—no matter how stressful the day gets, a good viral video can instantly lift your mood. Whether it’s a funny pet doing something silly, a heartwarming moment between strangers, or a wild dance challenge, viral videos are what keep the internet fun and alive.
