Odds, best bet, prediction for Big 12 nightcap
Deion Sanders is finding life a little tougher without Shedeur Sanders and Travis Hunter with him at Colorado.
The Buffaloes were expected to take a step back after losing college football’s most unique 1-2 punch, but it’s fair to suggest that Colorado has not met expectations through four games.

The Buffs have alternated wins and losses against Georgia Tech, Delaware, Houston, and Wyoming.
Things won’t get any easier with a visit from No. 25 BYU (3-0) on Saturday night.
BYU vs. Colorado odds, prediction

BYU’s 3-0 start looks pretty impressive on the surface.
The Cougars have not had to break a sweat in wins over Portland State, Stanford, and ECU, and now head into Big 12 play ranked inside the top 25.
But read that list of opponents again: Portland State, Stanford and ECU. Not exactly a murderers’ row for the Cougars out of the gate.
Colorado, meanwhile, has lost to two improved, undefeated teams, Georgia Tech and Houston, while beating up on a couple of Group of 5 programs.
Betting on College Football?
It’s been a winding road to get to 2-2, but that seems like a fair place for the Buffaloes to be right now.
There has definitely been more drama than you’d like in the Colorado camp because of the team switching between quarterbacks, but Kaidon Salter looked terrific in his last outing, and he’s shown he can be a high-ceiling quarterback during his days with Liberty.
If Salter is able to carry over his form from last week’s win against Wyoming, Colorado has every chance of not just sticking with BYU, but pulling the upset.
It feels as if the betting market has completely abandoned ship on the Buffaloes, overreacting to a pair of completely justifiable losses.
Meanwhile, all BYU has done is beat up on low-level opposition, and that is enough to make them a 6.5-point favorite on the road against a dangerous team.
Colorado has gone from a betting darling to being overlooked. Buy low on the Buffs.
