Sydney Sweeney is all legs in new HeyDude ad
Sydney Sweeney has added another fashion campaign to her resume, appearing in HeyDude’s latest ads.
Posing on a tall stool in a brick-walled studio, the 28-year-old actress appears to be wearing nothing but a suede jacket and the brand’s own Austin Lift shoes. Two photos from the campaign have been released, both of which were posted to the company’s Instagram page.

In the first image, the star throws her head back, laughing, knees pulled up to her chest. With her jacket hanging down her back, the pantless illusion is on full display. In the second pic, her legs are crossed, and you can barely make out the micro mini suede shorts that complete the outfit.
Sweeney first partnered with HeyDude last summer in an effort to introduce a younger generation to the brand, just a few years after being acquired by comfy footwear giant, Crocs. Since then, she has appeared in multiple video and print ads across all of their platforms.
This marks the first fashion campaign since the star’s controversial American Eagle denim campaign.
Though AE initially reported a 40% rise in stock upon the release of her risqué ad, claiming, “In just six weeks, the campaign has generated unprecedented new customer acquisition,” praise quickly turned to controversy over the campaign’s messaging.
With the tagline “Sydney Sweeney has great genes,” crossing out the word “genes” and replacing it with “jeans,” American Eagle was faced with accusations of racial coding.
Just yesterday, Katie Couric spoofed Sweeney’s AE ads with a colon cancer screening PSA, posed on a hospital bed in a medical gown and denim jacket, styled in the same manner as Sweeney was in her largest billboard, beginning with, “Speaking of genes … ”
Sweeney has publicly shut down any AE-related questions and is currently promoting her new biopic, “Christy,” which debuted at the Toronto International Film Festival a few weeks ago.
