“We’re just now starting to tell people,” the Seahawks all-time leading rusher said, “but No. 14 is in the belly.”

The newest addition to the Alexander clan will join siblings Heaven, Trinity, Eden, Joseph, Justus, Temple, Honor, Jedidiah, Eternity, Hosanna, Hope and Judea. The family lost daughter Torah in 2017 just 70 days after she was born.
The Alexander patriarch, 48, shared the news with host Kay Adams while discussing the Harvest Covenant, a faith-based educational initiative for homeschooled children, which includes a football team coached for the three-time Pro Bowler.
The total of 14 puts him in pretty rare NFL air — well ahead of former QB Philip Rivers’ total of 10 kids and tied with Antonio Cromartie’s 14.
“You know what? It’s really wild,” Alexander said.

“I want you to look at this: Philip Rivers, get to work,” Adams responded. “That’s what I want to say. Philip steals headlines with 10. You only have 10 children. Philip, get a grip. We should take his Hall of Fame away and give it to you.”
“You know, I want my kids to see the Hall of Fame,” Alexander said. “Am I asking too much?”
The running back certainly has a case as one of the 128 finalists to be enshrined in Canton.
Over nine NFL seasons from 2000-08, he racked up 9,453 yards and 100 touchdowns on the ground — including an absurd 1,880 rushing yards, 27 touchdowns in 2005 for which he earned MVP, Offensive Player of the Year, All-Pro and Bert Bell Award honors — posted five straight 1,100-yard seasons and ranks 18th-all time with 112 touchdowns.
