Jon Gosselin, son Collin react to Kate Gosselin dating ex-bodyguard

Jon Gosselin doesn’t approve of ex-wife Kate Gosselin’s new romance.

Jon, 48, is reacting to Page Six’s report that Kate, 50, is dating her former bodyguard, Steve Neild, years after it was rumored that the two had an affair while she was married to Jon. Kate vehemently denied the claims at the time.

“Guess who really ruined the marriage,” Jon wrote on Instagram Wednesday, alongside the Page Six article and an old photo of Kate with Neild.

“Maybe when I speak people will listen now!!!” Jon added.

Jon also posted about his ex-wife on his Instagram Stories, writing, “I told you all. No one believed me— guess I was right!”

Jon and Kate’s son Collin, 21, who is estranged from his mother, reacted to her alleged relationship with Neild as well.

“What really upsets me is that my mom had an affair with our bodyguard way back in 2009, and for years would share hotel rooms with him while we went on family vacations, while I was in a connected room!” Collin claimed on his Instagram Stories. “Now everyone thinks her being with him is some cute novel romance.”

“By the way my dad received death threats and got shunned by the public for years for ‘having an affair’ and ‘leaving his kids,’” Collin continued.  “I hope she doesn’t try to play this one off. Just come forward and be truthful.”

The 21-year-old explained that he’s “very busy in college, at work, and running my business” and “not big on the drama,” though he noted that he feels “very strongly on the matter of cheating and then blaming someone else for your own actions.”

“Everyone says my dad and I are hung up on my mom. We are not,” Collin said. “We have suffered the damage of a narcissist and cried together.”

“So no we won’t just go and make TikTok’s and act reformed when we still feel pain from our past. I love you dad,” Collin concluded his statement.

The “Jon & Kate Plus 8” alums were married from 1999 to 2009 and welcomed eight children together: twins Madelyn and Cara, 24, and sextuplets Aaden, Collin, Joel, Hannah, Alexis and Leah, 21.

Jon is estranged from all of his kids except Collin and Hannah, who don’t speak to their mother.

While married to Jon, Kate denied she was having an affair with Neild, calling the allegations “disgusting, unthinkable, unfathomable.”

“These are people who absolutely love us and want to see us through to the end,” Kate told People in 2009 of Neild and his family. “Of course, both of them travel with us at times, and we’ve spent holidays together, because, in this situation, your circle grows smaller and smaller, and it’s very natural to become friends with your manager, your publicist, your security team … they’re the only people you have left. And now they’re coming under fire.”

According to Page Six, Kate and Neild are in a “serious” relationship and are living together.

“There’s no doubt that Kate is crazy about him … things are serious, they have discussed wedding plans and moving on that next stage,” a source told the outlet.

Kate recently revealed on TikTok that she’s been in a relationship for “a little over a year, maybe 14 [or] 15 months.”

“You perhaps will catch a peep of him here and there or once in a while going forward,” the “Celebrity Apprentice” alum added.

Kate also gushed in the comments of her video that she isn’t “lonely anymore.”
