In the bodycam footage obtained by TMZ, Walsh’s wife, Leslie, is spotted lying in the street while being treated for her injuries, as an eyewitness, who seemed to live near the crash site, tells a cop she saw part of what happened through her window.
As Leslie reveals her injury is in her chest, someone can be heard hysterically crying in the background.
Later in the video, an officer instructs Walsh to stay away from his vehicle as the actor answers questions about what unfolded.
The star — known for playing Dr. Sean McNamara on the FX surgeon series — details how they had been in the sun all day at the beach.
While he admits to drinking earlier, he claims he was unaware how his SUV wound up slamming into the utility poles when peppered with questions from police.
“Did you lose consciousness or anything driving? Did you fall asleep? [Are you] on any medication?” one officer asks Walsh, who responds that he was just “really tired.”
“I was driving and it happened,” he explains. “I don’t know how that happened.”
Upon inspecting Walsh’s vehicle, officers find a cooler bag filled with White Claw Hard Seltzers and other booze, which one of them points out appears to be open.
Once in the ambulance, the police officer informs the “Superman & Lois” actor that they are requesting his blood to be drawn at the hospital. The cop warns Walsh that if he rejects the request, they will get a warrant.
The Post reached out to Walsh’s rep for comment.
The actor’s rep previously claimed he had suffered a stroke before the crash and that Walsh’s blood alcohol content was below the legal limit; however, cops did not confirm that detail.
Walsh’s SUV was allegedly heading northbound when it swerved into the opposite lane, crashed into one utility pole and collided with another.
Walsh, his wife, their kids Hudson, 12, and Amelie, 13, and one additional passenger were said to be in the vehicle during the accident.
The “Lake House” star was reportedly cited for six motor vehicle violations in connection to the incident, including open container of alcohol, reckless driving, expired registration, failure to keep right, unsafe lane change/failure to maintain lane and driving on a sidewalk.
Law enforcement confirmed that two of the five individuals in the vehicle were transported to Riverview Medical Center, with Walsh’s team later revealing that everyone involved in the accident was fine.
“Over the weekend, Dylan Walsh and his family were involved in a car accident in Rumson,” his rep told The Post at the time. “Thankfully, everyone is safe and has since returned home.”
“The family is deeply grateful for the swift response of the Rumson Police, Fire Department and EMS, as well as the staff at Riverview Medical Center for their care,” the statement continued. “They would also like to extend a special thank-you to the management and staff of The River Point Inn for their support in the immediate aftermath.”
Walsh recently lost his “Nip/Tuck” co-star Julian McMahon, who passed away from cancer at age 56 on July 2.
He paid homage to McMahon in a touching statement days later.
“Dear Jules, I know you like to flout the boundaries but this time you’ve gone too far,” Walsh told The Post on July 5. “Let’s meet at the Biltmore, have a martini and we’ll talk this through.”
The two starred alongside each other for six seasons of the risqué plastic surgeons drama, with McMahon playing Dr. Christian Troy opposite Walsh’s Dr. Sean McNamara.
