Going out to eat and drink is also a favorite activity for her and her pals, Aniston told People in an interview published Tuesday.
“I’ll go to my favorite restaurant with some girlfriends, have a martini, and some delicious meal,” she said about what she does to feel better.
Aniston listed her famous friends she calls to spend time with, which included her “Friends” co-stars Courteney Cox and Lisa Kudrow. More famous faces that made the cut were Jason Bateman’s wife, Amanda Anka, and Tobey Maguire’s ex-wife, jewelry designer Jennifer Meyer.
The “Morning Show” star is promoting her new cookbook for kids, “Cook With Clydeo.” The animated character Clydeo is inspired by her rescue dog Clyde.
While she may not be super strict on what foods she eats, clearly she watches her portions.
Aniston said of indulging in her favorite recipe in the book, Enchilada Bites, “It’s guilt-free, because they’re just little bites.”
“You can stretch it into two bites, but definitely, definitely yummy, yummy, yummy,” she added.
The Emmy winner revealed her secret to aging gracefully in a Q&A with Glamour earlier this month.
“I have an eternal fountain of optimism and positivity. Call it youth if you want,” she said.
“But I think it all starts with how we love our bodies and love where we are,” she added.
Aniston didn’t admit to undergoing any recent plastic surgery despite the speculation she’s faced, but rather, noted that she’s “maintained” her looks.
“I’m not going to say I don’t get the facials and the lasers and all that good stuff,” she said. “I mean, I’m maintained. I’m not going to just go down and let these gray hairs take over.”
“So its perspective, and also knowing that this is our one body,” she continued. “It’s a mindset.”
