The jailed hip-hop entrepreneur — who was reportedly worth nearly $1 billion before his fall from grace amid evidence of a violent temper and allegations of sexual misconduct — scripted a 15-page curriculum for a course he dubbed “Free Game with Diddy,” he claimed in court papers seeking leniency at his upcoming sentencing.
The purported class was a six-week “educational program designed to equip participants with essential skills in business management, entrepreneurship and personal development,” Combs’ lawyers wrote.
Combs, 55, has been spending his days since his September 2024 arrest inside a special dorm-style room reserved for high-profile inmates and detainees needing special layers of protection.
All of his dorm mates were offered the chance to participate in the class, including Spanish speakers who were able to use an interpreter, according to the mogul’s lawyers.
“Despite many successes in Mr. Combs’ life, he counts his ‘Free Game’ course as one of the most impactful and important endeavors in his life,” the attorneys wrote.
The embattled “I’ll Be Missing U” rapper — who is asking to be released on time served when he’s sentenced on Oct. 3 — considers himself a guru of sorts who hopes to roll out his classes to “youth in the community” and to other detainees, the filing says.
Combs’ claim of teaching fellow inmates comes as Judge Arun Subramanian is set to decide how much time one of the most recognizable faces in rap history will spend behind bars on his conviction for setting up baby-oil-fueled sex romps nicknamed “freak-offs” with escorts who traveled across state lines.
Jurors in Manhattan federal court acquitted the Bad Boy Records founder of the top charges he’d faced after a two-month trial, despite two women testifying that he “coerced” them into living out his degrading sexual fantasies during their rocky relationships.
Combs is asking the judge to release him on time served on his conviction on two counts of breaching the Mann Act, a federal law making it a crime to transport someone across state lines for prostitution.
Prosecutors are expected to ask for a sentence of more than five years in court papers due next Monday.
The Post was not able to independently confirm that the business class described in Combs’ court papers took place.
The federal Bureau of Prisons, which oversees the Metropolitan Detention Center jail where Combs is being held, did not immediately respond to a request to comment.
