While writing his New York Times No. 1 bestselling memoir “Greenlights,” Matthew McConaughey spent 52 days alone in a desert convent, reflecting on his life and spiritual identity. Faith and belief in the mystical have always been central to the Texas native, who shares his poetry, musings and hilarious anecdotes in his new, aptly-titled opus, “Poems & Prayers.”

“It is still my go-to spirit, whether it’s on the town or in the kitchen with Camila. A few rocks cool it down on the warm evenings as well.”

“My makeup artist, Felicity Bowring, turned me on to this product while on set. I’ve used it daily for three months now and I can truly see and feel a difference in the health, texture and clarity of my skin.”
