“I’m a big weightlifter, so I do lots of weights,” she told Vogue in a new interview published Monday. “I’ve had some back issues, so I’ve had to readjust just some of my workouts, but I have to do lower body in order to stay toned. I do a few days of upper body.”
Kardashian said she usually picks a body part to focus on and works on it for the day.
“I do an hour and a half a day, with weights and stretching, and a little bit of cardio,” she shared. “I love pilates … I find when I don’t incorporate pilates at least once a week, I can feel it in my back.”
“I definitely need that lengthening and stretching,” she added.
The mother of four said she works out in the morning, but admitted she’s easily distracted.
“I am the kind of annoying workout person where I check my phone throughout the workout, though, and respond to people,” she said. “I’m sure that really frustrates my trainer.”
As for what gets her in the mood, she loves working out to Justin Bieber music. But also noted that any type of dancing workout or hot yoga is not for her.
“I did it once and I fell asleep,” she said of her experience with hot yoga. “Just with the mood, and you lay down and close your eyes. I can fall asleep anywhere, so put me in the position to fall asleep, and I will.”
Kardashian is promoting her new NikeSkims collection in partnership with Nike, which comes out on Sept. 26.
She shared an Instagram video of herself and other famous athletes working out in the new collection, including Serena Williams, Sha’Carri Richardson, Jordan Chiles and Chloe Kim.
“I love to work out — it’s my therapy,” she also told Vogue.
Let’s be honest—no matter how stressful the day gets, a good viral video can instantly lift your mood. Whether it’s a funny pet doing something silly, a heartwarming moment between strangers, or a wild dance challenge, viral videos are what keep the internet fun and alive.
