“Following the information shared this weekend on the Duchess of York’s correspondence with Jeffrey Epstein, Julia’s House has taken the decision that it would be inappropriate for her to continue as a patron of the charity,” Monday’s statement read.

“We have advised the Duchess of York of this decision and thank her for her past support,” the company concluded.

Ferguson’s rep did not immediately respond to Page Six’s request for comment.

The Daily Mail revealed on Saturday that the 65-year-old reached out to Epstein in April 2011 to “humbly apologize” for calling their friendship a “gigantic error of judgment” in an Evening Standard interview.

At the time, she expressed “deep regret” and promised to “repay the money [he had given her] and have nothing ever to do with Jeffrey Epstein ever again.”

However, the royal subsequently wrote to him, “I know you feel hellaciously let down by me from what you were either told or read.”

Referring to Epstein as a “steadfast, generous and supreme friend,” Ferguson added, “I was advised, in no uncertain terms, to have nothing to do with you and to not speak or email you and if I did I would cause more problems to you, [Prince Andrew] and myself.

“I was instructed to act with the utmost speed if I would have any chance of holding on to my career as a children’s book author and a children’s philanthropist,” she continued.

Ferguson, who wrote that the message came from the “truth of [her] heart,” claimed that she and Epstein had “both been blamed for stuff we have not done.”

She wished to have “taken a day or two to think of the ramifications of [her] actions” instead of moving from a place of ” overriding fear.”

Ferguson’s rep, however, insisted to the outlet that Ferguson had been “taken in by [Epstein’s] lies” at the time.

“As soon as she was aware of the extent of the allegations against him, she not only cut off contact but condemned him publicly, to the extent that he then threatened to sue her for defamation for associating him with paedophilia,” the spokesperson claimed.

“This email was sent in the context of advice the Duchess was given to try to assuage Epstein and his threats,” the rep alleged.

Epstein was first arrested for soliciting prostitution in 2006, pleading guilty in a plea deal and serving 13 months.

When he was taken into custody again in 2019 over sex trafficking of minors and conspiracy to commit sex trafficking, he died in New York’s Metropolitan Correctional Center while awaiting trial.

Ferguson’s ex-husband, notably, was friends with Epstein after they met in 1999.

After Andrew, 65, became embroiled in Epstein’s scandal — and was accused of sexual abuse by Virginia Giuffre, who recently died by suicide — Queen Elizabeth stripped him of royal titles and duties.

Despite a years-long eviction war with King Charles III, Andrew still lives in his Royal Lodge home.
