New Movies & Shows To Stream This Weekend: Black Rabbit, Tulsa King, Lilith Fair: Building A Mystery + More
Netflix’s new series Black Rabbit dropped this week and you can binge the entire eight-episode first season now. Also out this weekend is the third season of Tulsa King which premieres on Paramount+ on Sunday. And if you feel nostalgic for the 1990s, check out Lilith Fair: Building a Mystery on Hulu, a new documentary that chronicles the all-female music tour started by Sarah McLachlan.
New on Netflix September 18: Black Rabbit
Jude Law and Jason Bateman star as brothers Jake and Vince Friedkin in the new Netflix series Black Rabbit. When Vince comes back into Jake’s life, Jake, the owner of a thriving but high pressure New York restaurant, welcomes him back to the business that he helped found. But Jake is soon reminded that Vince’s life and methods are pure chaos, and his return invites danger and turbulence into their world.
New on Paramount+ September 21: Tulsa King (Season 3)
Taylor Sheridan’s crime drama Tulsa King is back for season three this Sunday on Paramount+. The series stars Sylvester Stallone as Dwight “The General” Manfredi, a New York mobster who relocates to Tulsa after serving 25 years in prison and builds a new criminal enterprise there. Robert Patrick, Bella Heathcote, and Kevin Pollak will join the cast this season, as will Samuel L. Jackson, who is receiving his own spinoff from the series.
When Sarah McLachlan set out to create a tour that was woman-forward, she was told it wouldn’t work. The Lilith Fair, which featured some of the biggest acts of the 1990s including McLachlan, Sheryl Crow, Fiona Apple, the Indigo Girls and dozens of others, proved all the naysayers wrong. In the new Hulu documentary Lilith Fair: Building A Mystery, the inside story behind the tour that traveled the world for three summers, features interviews with the artists who participated, along with the artists it inspired like Olivia Rodrigo.
