Famed feminist website Jezebel paid witches on Etsy to curse Charlie Kirk— 2 days before he was assassinated
Feminist website Jezebel boasted that a reporter paid witches on Etsy to “curse” MAGA conservative influencer Charlie Kirk two days before he was assassinated in Utah.
The unsettling article ripped the Turning Point USA founder before recounting how the unnamed reporter forked over cash for “multiple curses” on him — later expressing panic that the spells hadn’t worked.

“Are you interested in punishing Kirk for the years of regressive rhetoric he’s shouted at America’s youth and anyone within earshot?” the disturbing article read.
“Here at Jezebel, we’re about to find out if there’s a spell for that… Now, is it ethical to curse a man I’ve never met? Probably not. But is it unethical to let him keep talking? Yes. So here we are, in the gray area. To ruin his day with the collective feminist power of the Etsy coven would be my life’s greatest joy.”
A deranged gunman, who has since been arrested, fired a fatal shot into Kirk’s neck during a stop on his American Comeback Tour at Utah Valley University Wednesday afternoon.
The twisted article was posted Monday.
An editor’s note was added to the story after news broke the 31-year-old right-wing activist had been killed.
“This story was published on September 8. Jezebel condemns the shooting of Charlie Kirk in the strongest possible terms,” the note said.
“We do not endorse, encourage, or excuse political violence of any kind.”
The warped story described two curses placed on the married father of two, including “Make Everyone Hate Him” and the “Powerful Hex Spell.”
The reporter then claimed they received proof that the curse had been cast: a burned photograph of Kirk.
“So, did my Etsy curses work? Time will tell,” the reporter said, noting they didn’t want “dark forces to cause him harm.”
“The forces move in mysterious ways, and as the Priestess reminded me, ‘Spellwork is a collaboration between the caster, the client, and the universe itself.’ For now, we can only trust in the timing of the great unknown.”
