On a Monday, I am waiting. On Tuesday, I’m fading. And on Wednesday, I found out that Ashlee Simpson-Ross is friends with Scheana Shay.

“I’m friends with Scheana,” the singer said, to which a shocked Andy Cohen replied, “You are? What?!”

Simpson-Ross explained that they are “mom friends” and that their kids go to the “same preschool.” Simpson-Ross shares Bronx Mowgli, 16, with her ex-husband Pete Wentz and Jagger Snow, 10, and Ziggy Blu, 4, with her current husband Evan Ross, while Shay has one daughter, Summer Moon, 4, with her husband Brock Davies.

Ross, who was sitting in the audience, revealed that he had known Shay even longer than his wife.

“Tell me you dated Scheana without telling me you dated Scheana,” Cohen quipped, to which Ross responded, “I did not date Scheana. I remember she was doing music or something back then.”

That’s not the couple’s only connection to Bravo. They are also close friends with Danny Booko and Nia Booko from The Valley.

“Evan grew up with Danny,” Simpson-Ross revealed, while Ross added, “I was in acting class with him when I was 15.”

According to Simpson-Ross, they’ve been close with the Bookos ever since she started dating Ross more than 12 years ago. “We’ve done vacations,” she said. While they aren’t up to date on the latest in The Valley, Simpson-Ross said she’s “heard some stories that Season 2 gets a little wild,” which, according to her husband, was “on-brand” for their friends.

Watch What Happens Live airs Sunday through Thursday at 10 p.m. ET on Bravo. New episodes are available to stream the next day on Peacock.
