2025 ProCore Championship predictions, odds: Picks for Silverado Resort

Normally, the fall swing is a quiet time for golf’s biggest stars.

The seven tournaments between the Tour Championship and the offseason don’t often feature stacked fields, but this week’s ProCore Championship will pack a different kind of punch.

With the Ryder Cup fast approaching, the heavyweights have descended on Napa Valley to get in some reps before they head to Bethpage Black for the big show in two weeks.

Scottie Scheffler, Russell Henley, Justin Thomas, Cameron Young, J.J. Spaun, Collin Morikawa, Harris English, Ben Griffin, Patrick Cantlay, and Sam Burns are signed up for the ProCore, meaning the only two players from Team USA that won’t be teeing it up at Silverado are Bryson DeChambeau and Xander Schauffele.

With Scheffler and the Yanks in tow, bettors will need to adjust a little bit to how they play the ProCore.

Normally, this is the type of event where you want to play up-and-comers or long shots, given how the field is traditionally pretty weak and the course is beatable, but winning this trophy just got a lot harder.

2025 ProCore Championship picks

Collin Morikawa (25/1, DraftKings)

Of all the Ryder Cuppers in the field, Collin Morikawa probably has the most to gain or lose with his performance this weekend.

The two-time major champion finished the season on a sour note, missing two cuts and failing to contend at any of the FedEx Cup Playoff events. Morikawa only has one top-10 finish since March.

Nonetheless, Morikawa’s ceiling remains as high as anybody’s on this roster this side of Scheffler, and Keegan Bradley will want to be able to count on the 28-year-old on Long Island later this month.

If he were in better form, Morikawa would be right up there with Henley and Thomas behind Scheffler, but his sluggish run down the stretch has forced bettors to abandon ship, which has allowed his number to drift into a tempting range.

Emiliano Grillo (80/1, FanDuel)

A two-time winner on the PGA Tour, Emiliano Grillo’s not the boom-or-bust player he was even a couple of years ago. He’s less streaky now, and is making cuts with regularity.

The next step for the Argentine will be to contend on a more regular basis, but he did show some signs of that in the back half of the 2025 regular season.

Grillo made the cut in 10 of his last 11 outings, and finished 25th or better in six of those tournaments, including a playoff loss at the John Deere in July.

Chez Reavie (1,000/1, FanDuel)

We’ll take one crazy swing here with a three-time PGA Tour winner who has some terrific course history.

Whether Chez Reavie still has anything left in the tank is up for debate – he played just 10 PGA Tour events in 2025 and missed the cut six times – but what isn’t up for argument is the fact that he sees this course well.

The Arizona State alum finished T3 here in 2021, and was hanging around the leaderboard last year until he torpedoed himself with a poor showing on Sunday.

Reavie will need to find something special, but this is the course for him to do it. I’ve played much worse at half the odds.
