Lady Gaga brings back pointe shoes from ‘Marry the Night’ video

Lady Gaga’s 18-inch ballet-inspired pointe shoes returned to the spotlight for a chic new Haus Labs rebrand.

In a photo shared by the Sephora cosmetics brand on Tuesday, the “Poker Face” hitmaker posed in the dramatic pink platform pointe shoes — which she paired with a pink tutu in her 2011 “Marry the Night” video — while wearing a billowy, white strapless dress.

A white dove rested on the shoulder of the iconic “Bad Romance” singer, 39, as she laid her long, balletic legs on a table. Gaga casually inspected her makeup — a fierce glossy pink makeup glam — with a compact mirror in the outrageous ensemble.

She wore her blond locks in voluminous, windblown curls while checking out compacts in various shades of pink on the minimalist table.

“New Visions: The Art of Beauty. Sep 12,” the brand captioned the dramatic pic on Tuesday — and the launch comes after her big Artist of the Year win at the MTV VMAs on Sunday.

Fans couldn’t contain their excitement in the comments thread. “WELCOME BACK MARRY THE NIGHT SHOES,” one person gushed, while another wrote, “this is absolute insanity 😍”

“This look is so ARTPOP coded!!!😍🤍😍✨️” a third enthused, referencing the singer’s 2013 album.

“This is gonna be one of the bestest haus labs era omg marking my calendar & ready to refresh all my makeup needs,” remarked a fourth.

In a 2019 interview, the “Paparazzi” singer — who is currently in the midst of her Mayhem Ball Tour — shared how makeup has empowered her.

“I never felt beautiful, and I still have days that I don’t feel beautiful,” she told Allure at the time. “All of the insecurities that I’ve dealt with my whole life from being bullied when I was younger, they come right back up to bite me. Then I put makeup on, and before I know it I feel this superhero within. It gives me those wings to fly.”

As for her sense of fashion — which still includes the occasional pair of sky-high platform shoes — she’s confessed that it plays a similar role of transformation.

“I’m not interested in fashion being functional for everyday life,” she said in a 2021 video interview with Vogue. “It’s about being functional for art. I love becoming art.”
