‘Happy’ Anne Burrell had ‘a blast’ at improv show the night before shocking death

Anne Burrell spent her final night at an improv show.

The late Food Network star had “a blast” at The Second City New York in Brooklyn Monday night.

The 55-year-old, who was found “unconscious and unresponsive” in her home Tuesday morning, “was so great … and so happy” the previous evening, a source told People.

Burrell “was in great spirits last night” as “typical fun, outgoing Anne,” a second insider said Wednesday.

Those who spent time with the celebrity chef were left “shocked and confused” when news broke of her passing.

A New York Police Department spokesperson confirmed to Page Six Tuesday that Burrell’s body was discovered around 7:50 a.m.

The 911 caller claimed Burrell suffered “cardiac arrest” and was “DOA [dead on arrival],” we hear from the New York City Fire Department.

Her official cause of death has yet to be revealed.

The “Secrets of a Restaurant Chef” host is survived by husband Stuart Claxton, as well as her stepson, Javier.

Burrell’s loved ones mourned the “beloved wife, sister, daughter, stepmother, and friend” in a touching statement Tuesday.

“Her smile lit up every room she entered,” her family members wrote. “Anne’s light radiated far beyond those she knew, touching millions across the world.

“Though she is no longer with us, her warmth, spirit, and boundless love remain eternal,” they concluded.

The TV personality, who was missing from “Worst Cooks in America” months before her death, has been honored with various social media tributes from her former colleagues.

“Longtime fan” Gigi Hadid wrote, “I am heartbroken to hear of the loss of the Great Anne Burrell. … She was awesome.”

As for Burrell’s final social media activity, she appeared happy and healthy in a selfie shared last week.
