Taylor Swift’s engagement ring from Travis Kelce could be worth seven figures

He knelt to the ground and pulled out a rock.

Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce announced their engagement on Tuesday, with the pop star showing off an enormous custom ring designed by the Kansas City Chiefs tight end himself.

The Pro Bowler, 35, helped create the old mine brilliant-cut sparkler with Kindred Lubeck of Artifex Fine Jewelry, Page Six Style exclusively confirmed.

The elongated stone is set on an engraved yellow gold band, and certainly fits Swift’s sweet vintage aesthetic.

“[Old mine brilliant cuts were] a style popular in the 18th and 19th centuries, prized for its chunky facets and romantic sparkle,” Rare Carat CEO Ajay Anand tells Page Six Style, estimating the stone’s size at around 9 carats and its value at approximately $1 million, depending on color and clarity.

He adds, “The ring design is hand engraved with claw prongs, incorporating heirloom charm into a modern setting … and, frankly, nothing less than what you’d expect for Taylor Swift.”

Adds Laura Taylor, engagement ring specialist at Lorel Diamonds: “This cut is known for its soft edges and beautiful sparkle, giving the ring a dreamy, romantic feel that suits Taylor’s signature style perfectly.”

“This style feels exactly right for Taylor. It stands out from the typical celebrity engagement rings we’ve seen in recent years. The old mine cut, the engraved band, and the warm tone of the gold create something that feels a lot more personal and timeless, worlds away from the minimalist platinum styles worn by many in Hollywood,” she adds.

Abelini founder Nilesh Rakholia estimates the stone to be somewhere in the range of 7 to 10 carats and agrees with a $1 million valuation.

However, Swift may not be carrying around something quite as pricey. The most expensive ring currently available to shop on Artifex Fine Jewelry’s site is a 5-carat cognac-colored old mine ring priced at $38,300.

To be sure, no matter the price tag, the token fits Taylor Swift to a tee.

“What makes this design particularly striking is its blend of vintage charm and modern minimalism. The choice of yellow gold has been making a huge resurgence in fine jewelry, loved for its warmth and ability to enhance the brilliance of white diamonds,” Rakholia tells us.

“It also nods to antique inspirations, giving the ring a romantic, heirloom-like quality.”

Jared Jewelers VP of Merchandising Ann Grimmett, who places the price tag at around half a million dollars, agrees, predicting the “Cruel Summer” singer could start a renewed wave of vintage-inspired engagement rings.

“Taylor Swift’s ring has an heirloom look that is both romantic and dreamy,” she says. “It’s traditional with a modern flair,” she tells us. “This ring aligns to recent trends in bold gold looks, fancy cuts, and oversized elongated stones.”

For the moment, set in a garden filled with roses, Swift went with a classic look, too. She wore a striped silk Polo Ralph Lauren dress, while Kelce coordinated in a navy blue Polo Ralph Lauren shirt.

Swift accessorized with brown Louis Vuitton sandals and added even more bling with a diamond-studded Cartier Santos Demoiselle watch, stacks of rings and heart-shaped earrings as well as her “TNT” friendship bracelet by Wove, which was a Christmas gift from Kelce.
